This luxury vessel, built in 2000 by Codecasa – 49.90m (163’8″ft) motor yacht- has sophisticated exterior design and engineering. Lusben has recently refitted it and the interior layouts of the yacht have been re-thought, re-designed and supplied by FM – Architettura di Interni.
When Francesca Muzio and Maria Silvia Orlandini, co-founders of FM- Architettura di Interni, visited Eileen for the first time, the first thing that impressed them very much was that, though it was a beautiful lady getting a little on in years, its concepts in terms of volume and functionality were extremely contemporary.
FM- Architettura di Interni, with enthusiasm, has immediately followed the project and worked on the idea to have three large rest stops on the different decks. On the Main Deck, the traditional covered area, the kitchen area, has been re-designed. Hotel equipment has been inserted and today it is possible to serve gourmet plates in shorter time.
Thanks to a special ice maker and a cellar, on the Upper deck, the existing pantry has been transformed into a “cold kitchen” specialized in Sushi and Sashimi.
The Sun deck, wide and beautiful, has been subjected to a complete revolution by FM- Architettura di Interni’s team, since actually it was not used having small tables and an old canopy/sunshade. A huge hardtop has been added and a wider cold dining area with open buffets, cocktail bar, 12 people lunch table, snack tables and a large relaxing sofa for “siesta” time have been created.
One of the first questions to be answered was about the style of the interiors. Meeting the Owner and his family was very important to understand the new DNA of Eileen. Style is also a matter of taking care of the people who would live it, enjoy it, relaxed on it and where they would spend precious time with their families.
Refitting M/Y Eileen was an amazing adventure: something really unique and special has been made. Not only for the selection of furniture items or for the yacht stylish appearance but mainly because it is now part of a person, part of a family.
That’s why whoever visits Eileen feels the homey atmosphere, each single piece of the yacht shines in a special way, because inside every part there is something special.
The colors are warm and cozy (cognac color for leather details, sand for the suede interlace design on the wall) and they give to the Main Dining Salon a familiar feeling even if the room is formal and sophisticated.
The Master Cabin, designed for the Owner, inspires complete relax and the butter color of the fabric on the walls, together with the refined Armani bedspread, diffuse a cocoon sensation.
The low deck cabins follow the same concept of soft colors, with sophisticated Oriental floral texture for the VIP cabins and marine funny themes for the Guest cabins.
The Upper Deck Salon has informal style, with a magnificent backgammon coffee table designed by FM- Architettura di Interni.
This 50 mt Megayacht offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. It is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
