Coming Home, the complete remodel of a 172ft Classic

…the feeling of being “at home” while furrowing the sea

From the outside, for those standing on the shore, it can be difficult to imagine what we find so intriguing about Superyacht design. Is it simply dressing up a carriage on the water? Or is it something more? Step inside, and you see for us, a voyage watercraft is after all one’s second home, a place to relax and refuge from the noise outside, a place to feel completely at ease and your true self.

The craft of Le Marche

Despite being built more than 15 years ago, this vessel can be considered a contemporary jewel: it is enormously spacious and powerful. The boat was refitted in only 5 months, in partnership with CPN Shipyard in Ancona, relying on our established network of top ranking artisans of the Marche region of Italy, the craftsmen with centuries-old tradition, especially in leather and wood manufacturing.

A HOME AT SEA

Refitting this Abeking & Rasmussen vessel, we aimed to create a project that goes beyond traditional yacht interiors, using intricate hand craft and fine materials to create an elegant atmospheres that exude comfort with all the amenities and coziness of home. We focused on the of acoustics and living spaces, use all the areas to their full potential, adapting the interiors to the Owner’s very own lifestyle.

Haute Couture

We define this refit intervention as Haute Couture, where a combination of unusual materials and peculiar processing techniques make the atmosphere warm and contemporary, sensual and posh all at the same time. The coffee table at the center is produced with an innovative process combining wood and metal. The rug beneath it is custom made to be three dimensional with its various weaves of the finest threats, a luxurious treat for the feet.

Panorama Lounge

The new concept expressed in the upper deck is colonially inspired, with cognac colors of the structures contrasting the ivory nuance of fabrics.. The large C-shaped sofa, equipped with side tables and a coffee table designed by FM Studio shows the great attention that was paid to conviviality.

Softened Bedrooms

The bedrooms are lavish with padded leather wall detailing and pillows of diverse fabrics invite the guests to make themselves at comfortable, crawling in at the end of an eventful day for the ultimate comfortable nights sleep at sea.

A home that takes its voyagers to any spot they find on the map.   A home, where they wake up every time with a new panorama thats opens up for them from a private veranda.
